I moved to the Bay area in early July and have been onboarding for my job, which was supposed to start in late July (now delayed).Listed below are commercial services that may assist you in completing the application for licensure. I know they can delay my app if they see further deficiencies. Now for my question: How long will I actually be waiting for this license? He estimated that I may be waiting 4-6 weeks for the review from the time of receipt of my last document (1 week ago). I asked my Staff Services Analyst how long the application will take to be reviewed and I just keep getting an automated message saying 120 days at the earliest! I called the MBC (80) and the person I spoke to there said the 120 days is referring to the date of when you first applied (October 2022 for me). My Staff Services Analyst at the MBC (the person assigned to take care of your application) reported confirmation of receipt of this last document and that my application was in the "Pending Review" status as of last week (August 1, 2023). That last form was wrought with errors made by my PD and my PC so it finally got submitted successfully 3 weeks ago (July 19, 2023). The final form to be submitted (PTA-PTB) is allowed to be submitted at the earliest 1 month before we graduate (May 30th at the earliest). The follow-up deficiency letter I received was in February 2023 (4 months later). I applied for my California Medical License in October 2022, beginning early because my residency graduation date was July 2023.
